Busy in here even gone midnight. Lots of young people inside. Barely room to sit down. 4 real ales available at back of pub, front pump clips had nothing on them. They were ok. Place was nicely decorated for Halloween.

When traveling, I will look for spots that are less touristy and more of how the locals do things. Ye Cracke Pub is just such a place. Yes, what brought me here originally was the John Lennon/history aspect, but I quickly realized there was more...More

Ye Cracke is an absolutely fantastic back street pub that on any trip into Liverpool city centre I always try to visit. This is a proper pub,a pub John Lennon used to frequent, a really nice interior with nice decor and furnishings including lots of...More

Authentic pub. Lots of Liverpool history, nice bar lady Most amusing bit was locals trying to out scouse each other The winner was the guy calling John Bishop a plastic scouser & his impression, classic!

If you want to go back in time and see the type of pub - in fact, the pub, John Lennon and his mated frequented, then this is the place for you. Slightly rough at the edges, but authentic. We turned up in slight drizzle...More

The outside belies what waits within, second rate beer served by surly staff. One of those places you have promised yourself you would visit if you were in the area only to be bitterly disappointed. It is obvious that unless you are in the 'clique'...More
