This is an amazing little building, which is full of history. The little shop on the left inside, selling postcards and books, is reasonably priced. And the assistant there is very helpful too.

Jew’s House is next to the Jew’s Court on Steep Hill in the centre of Lincoln. The house dates back to the 12th century and is part of England’s early Jewish history. The house was taken from the Jewish owners during the expulsion of Jews...More

We had a most enjoyable evening dining at this little gem of a place. We were welcomed with open arms and taken to the cosy lounge upstairs, where we took our time to study the choice of menu and the extensive wine list, during which,...More

Lovely location on steep hill and a building steeped in history, so well worth visiting. The food tried very hard to be upscale but somehow failed to hit the heights. The portions were a little ungenerous for Lincolnshire!

Passing down Steep Hill from the Castle & Cathedral to the Bus Station, Diane & I were impressed (unlike most of the rest of Lincoln!). Visually interesting and well documented.

Yet another of those buildings that Lincoln seems to be full of, old and full of history, although this one has more than its fair share.

A quiet environment served at a nice pace. Food is divine but tends to be a little small...saying that, the food is cooked to perfection. Would like music playing in the background so we didn’t need to whisper.
