The staff have incredible knowledge and we're very helpful. It was so interesting to see the Victorian prison. It's not often you get to go inside cells! It was also a sunny day so the walk around the castle walls was stunning.those views!!

Brilliant walk around the castle walls (1/3 mile) lots of picnic areas and you can go into the Victorian prison. Best to buy a joint ticket for this and the cathedral

Good Morning. Our visitors are always surprised about how much time they spend at Lincoln Castle. It is a day out and as a minimum, we recommend allowing at least two hours for your visit.

Hi. Once you have bought your ticket and inside th castle grounds after a few hours Are you allowed out of the castle grounds and then able to come back in again ? Say if you wanted to get lunch in the bail then finish day in castle . Thank you in advance
