Three great attractions. One great day out. Medieval Wall Walk. Victorian Prison. Magna Carta. Enjoy spectacular views across Lincolnshire from our completed Medieval Wall Walk. Visit the David P.J. Ross Magna Carta Vault and see one of only four remaining original Magna Carta along side the Charter of the Forest. Immerse yourself in the lives of prisoners and their daily routines in the Victorian Prison and see the unique separate system chapel. 1000 years of history - where it happened.

Visited the castle with my family, (wife and two boys aged 13 and 9). Had English Heritage membership which only gives 10% off, if you buy a combined castle/cathedral ticket the membership is of no use. Castle is really just an old prison but the...More

You get speculate views of the cathedral and the surrounding country side. The display for the Magna Carta is underwhelming and the prison is interesting but maybe not worth the price on its own but the wall walk made up for everything else

The castle was next door to the apartment we stayed at and it had a band playing the night of the Royal Wedding as well as entertainment through the weekend. Great way to preserve and utilize a historic castle. The Magna Carta is housed at...More

We came here bank holiday weekend and the castle was holding a 100 years of RAF exhibit - with planes, a flyover, singers and re-enactments. This did mean we had to pay - but well worth it for re-entry, seeing the rest of the castle,...More

Thank you for your review. It was definitely a first for us - to have a model biplane and spitfire on display in the castle grounds. I will ensure our event team receive your feedback.
