Good atmosphere, great friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. Plenty of space & it’s lovely when the real fire is on. Food is good if a little over priced in part. But, portions are good and the staff will do anything for you...More

A really friendly and traditional country pub with great food and welcoming staff. Nice quiet interior with warming open fires and good range of ales. Perfect for lunch or walking.

Have visited on a couple of occassions for lunch and both times have enjoyed both the meal and surroundings. The menu is varied and the food is prepared to a good standard. It is a pub I shall continue to visit
