The Royal Oak is becoming a regular Friday post-work drinks venue. Always welcoming, good range of draught drinks, sometimes free snacks such as sausage roll or pork pie handed round. Staff are friendly, and there is ample parking at the back. As winter draws in...More

I went with family on Saturday lunchtime. The staff were lovely, so friendly and helpful. Apparently they took over the pub a few weeks ago. We ordered a variety of jacket potatoes, chicken burger, and panini and chips. All really good portions, food was hot,...More

I was there yesterday with 4 friends, everything about the Royal Oak was great, from the food to the staff to the price, will be going back very soon. The braised steak was great, ( highly recommended) and plenty of fresh veggies and delicious gravy.

Nice little pub but hard to give any more than a 3* review as we only stopped for a beer. Staff were friendly and serves a good selection of Everards. Garden could do with some tidying up as they've still got last years dead plants...More

We call in occasionally when in need of a pit stop and enjoy the simplicity. My husband enjoys the Everard's bitter after a round of golf whilst I usually partake of a crisp chardonnay in the bar area. We do not eat there so cannot...More
