Attended on a Friday at the end of half term week with my husband and 2 boys, aged 5 and 8. Was expecting it to be busy with it being school holidays but even though there were a lot of people in there, it didn't feel overly busy. We managed most of the interactive exhibits without queuing for them. My... More

Initially thought it was expensive and you have to pay £3 on top to park. But the ticket can be changed into an annual pass at no extra cost. The centre is very interesting and great for children. Our 4 year old grandson was so excited. Well worth the visit and cannot wait to go back

The National Space Centre is easy to find if you are not from Leicester and is a fantastic day out if you are from or not from the city. The spectacular looking building in which the council has clearly thought about making a very good day attraction. There is so much information and activities for all ages that you need... More

I visited the space centre with family and have to say I was left a little disappointed. The attractions are fantastic and there are so many brilliant things to experience (or play with in some cases) for all ages. It can really engage youngsters with the science! The planetarium in particular is not to be missed. However it was let... More

The place was very busy and at times we had to queue to see some of the exhibits. Not as big as I had expected a little more space and some more seating would be good. Plenty of things to keep all ages interested and I never realised Leicester university had such a big influence on the space programme.

A great few hours spent in the Space Centre which is a must for anyone who has a love of all things space. Would recommend arriving early as the places quickly became very busy, mainly with school groups. Lots of interesting artefacts and hands on exhibitions to look at, especially the rockets. Also take a break in the cafe and... More
