Looked it up on the map and was surprised that this place that I pass by almost daily has an amateur photography gallery inside. Fantastic idea! This is a place where amateur photographers in the county and beyond can display their work, hold talk, presentations...More

I had no plans to visit Leicester People's Photographic Gallery; however, as I was exploring the town center, I came across it. There were mostly amateur photographs displayed and has potential to show case more work.

I was really disappointed with this place. Not good at all. Dirty floors, smelly loos and rude staff. Needs a revamp in my opinion.

I was a teacher of art and photography for over 30 years and so feel well qualified on this subject. I have not only studied, taught and critiqued photography. But I have also visited some of the best (and worst) galleries in the world, so...More
