Thought location was a bit dubious but turned out to be one of the best pubs we have ever visited, cask ales are awesome, we will be back, and we will recommend it to our friends and guests.

Great review. Don't worry, nothing dubious about this location, this is the very pub where Blackpool FC were formed in 1887!

Always visit when staying in the area as it's a proper drinking pub rather than a restaurant. Money off for CAMRA members makes it very good value.
