This garden lies about a five minute drive from the Windermere Bowness roundabout and is clearly signposted. In fairness we visited mid November, so the gardens were not at their best, but we will definitely return in summer when the gardens will be more colourful.

My husband and I visited Holehird Gardens in early October and although a lot of the flowers were 'past' their best we had a wonderful few hours walking round. Lovely place to visit.

The guidebook “The Best of Britain” described this garden favourably. That was the reason we went there and we are so pleased that the guidebook highlighted it to us as we were not disappointed.
