We timed this visit perfect, there had been rain the weekend before and the Force was in full flow The trees and plants still had colour and the sun made it a lovely day

An easy hike to a spectacular waterfall, especially worthwhile after a day of rain. Some steepish steps if you are not too sure footed.

Very pleasant visit with a 3 yr old Only comment would be the cost of 1 piece A4 paper for squirrel ramble for grandaughter.Think there could have been at least a sticker at the end for children

Nice walk and climb through the woodland which is well worth it when you see the waterfall, either from the top or the half way point. National Trust car parking at £5 though is a bit steep.

A lovely waterfall to visit with great views over Ullswater at the top. Car parking is expensive unless NT members but there is another car park at the top of the hill which is slightly cheaper, and brings you nearer to the falls. Some of...More

Highly recommend to do after a heavy night rainfall and in Autumn. Easy path to follow with beautiful waterfalls and peaceful surroundings!

Aira force is a natural fall of rainwater coming off Aira beck and falling over impressive falls of over 65 feet. The walks are cleverly structured around and over the falls with great natural scenery amongst which are some of the largest trees I've ever...More

Took a trip here whilst touring Lakes with family. Very pretty with scenic routes. Car parking quite expensive unless NT members , which we were. Not too difficult to walk to top of waterfall if quite able bodied. Well worth it though. The dog loved...More

Very clear and obvious paths take you on a circular walk of the falls and surrounding woodland.

I think it’s safe as long as they don’t walk near edges of the banks. Holding hands they would be fine.
