Walked to Lowther Castle and Gardens with two teenagers and a dog. It was lovely to walk around the castle and have a drink and bite to eat in the cafe - prices were reasonable.

Lowther Castle is privately owned. Still in the Lowther family. They have been here for 850 years or so. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Come again!
