Nice facility on the main street of Kendal. Good sized theatre. Friendly bar and restaurant serving acceptable bar food. Was there for Barnaby Rudge by the Northumberland Theatre Company - a fun production well done with a small company.

What's happened to the beer? New beers are pretty poor. Bring back the good stuff. Considering the range of great ales in the area what is being offered now is both limited and below par.

Called for a meal at about 7.00 pm on a Sunday in August. The restaurant was fairly quiet but we had an excellent experience. I had a homemade burger which came with delicious chunky chips and battered onion rings. My fellow guests had respectively mussels...More

Have made several visits recently. Ideal place to eat if you have a problem with gluten. Service is good but can be slow if it is busy. The menu is varied and not too expensive when a large group is eating.

We have a car park at The Brewery, but get here early as it does fill up quickly. Otherwise Abbot Hall car park is just across the road.
