We love the Lake District! We brought friends here for the first time and we all loved it. Stayed in Kendal but drove to Windermere and around. Lovely drive, although some of the passes on side roads can be a little scary!

If you are making your UK bucket list, be sure not to miss this place. It’s stunning with great hiking paths and trails. Amazing views and if you happen to be there over the summer you get to enjoy a swim in the lakes too.
