Would give it 5 stars if wasn't so expensive. You will only be in the house for around 10 minutes. Timed entrance meant a lot of waiting around before being allowed in. Beautiful little house though. Gift shop is very expensive. National trust generally is...More

A wonderful opportunity to see where so many childhood memories were created, a chance to understand what Beatrix Potter achieved to secure the beauty of the Lake District for generations and to see how she lived. Interesting rooms to explore including one with original Peter...More
Interesting to see where she lived and how she lived. Well worth a visit. Like by people of all nationalities. NT property
Can you believe it? We saw real rabbits hopping around in this garden! Did they come from central casting? Amazing. But the house itself is fascinating. Rooms are carefully preserved to maintain the atmosphere. And the curators are very knowledgeable.
Always worth a visit. Lovely setting. Lots to see and read about Beatrix Potter. The house is full of character and can be enjoyed by all ages.
