I'm not a huge fan of ginger bread but hearing so many good things about it we thought we had to try it, and it really is amazing! And the shop itself is so quaint and worth seeing inside.

Yep, the gingerbread really does taste as good as it smells, and you can smell it outside This shop claims to be one of the smallest in the country and I can well believe it If you in the area well worth stopping and trying...More

This place is highly recommended. We were only attracted to the shop due to the hypnotic smell of gingerbread that oozes from it. Once we bought some we were not disappointed. Absolutely delicious. Definitely a must visit whenever in the lakes.

Always worth a visit for luxury Gingerbread. Parking near by numerous coffee shops around and some lovely walks.

First taste of Grasmere gingerbread and having come home and tried it I'm already wishing I'd bought more. An authentic and pleasant little shop! I wouldn't go anywhere else for it.

Little is what this quaint historic shop is. We queued in the pouring rain (summer) to get inside to make our purchase. It is a very busy little shop near the church yard where William Wordsworth and his family are buried so easy to find....More

Gingerbread - worth the queue. Pity the recipe is secret. Setting is very close to the church where William Wordsworth is buried - also recommend visiting.
