We always visit this garden centre when in the area but were disappointed this time as there was no effort put into making the centre seasonal-the centre wasn’t decorated for Christmas and there were very few seasonal items for sale even though we visited on...More

Called in for an afternoon snack whilst visiting the village. I chose the ham and cheese sandwich and a bowl of chips. The sandwich was enough for two people to share particularly if you only need a snack. It was delicious. The chips were served...More

We always pop in here when we are in Grasmere which is not surprising because it's the biggest commercial draw in the village especially when its raining as it often is. This is a much smaller place than the behemoth that exists on the other...More

I only used the cafe which served wonderful cakes and lovely hot drinks. I had the cream tea which came with freshly made cream and home made jam.

Potting Shed Café offers very good food. Fish and chips was excellent with delicate batter. My whole party of five were well satisfied with smoked salmon and prawn sandwich as well as the humble ham and cheese. Generous helpings and great service.
