A good selection of beers available, friendly staff, convivial seating in the upper floor and (often a rarity at a pub) clean toilets!

Always a good selection of ales, at reasonable prices too. Bar staff are excellent even when things are busy.

Had a "day after wedding" gathering here with family and friends and were given a warm welcome in a friendly atmosphere. This is a popular "local" where everyone makes one feel at home.
