A good selection of beers available, friendly staff, convivial seating in the upper floor and (often a rarity at a pub) clean toilets!

This is a dog friendly pub. Can be a bit of an issue if you have several 2 legged beings with their 4 legged companions in at the same time......it's a small pub! The age mix is good which helps contribute to a good pub...More

Small friendly pub, very welcoming bar staff and relaxing atmosphere, small beer garden to back would be great in summer and a pool table on higher level

Always a good selection of ales, at reasonable prices too. Bar staff are excellent even when things are busy.

Had a "day after wedding" gathering here with family and friends and were given a warm welcome in a friendly atmosphere. This is a popular "local" where everyone makes one feel at home.
