Took my parents both in there 70's and they laugh and chuckled there way round remembering how they used to use some of the exhibits on show. There was lots to see and the staff couldn't have been more welcomeing.

Thoroughly enjoyed stepping back in time when I visited JB Banks and Son Ltd. The shop and museum were fascinating and well worth a visit. Fantastic

I've been here a couple of times but it never ceases to amaze me what a step back in time it is. Lovely staff and a really amazing museum. Recommended

like stepping back in time walking in here . there is a toy museem at the rear which was intresting . i would recomend trying this place out even if its just to take a look

Anyone visiting Cockermouth should make a point of visiting this wonderful shop and museum. It was a real step back in time and a delight to see the pride that the staff take in customers reactions

Dear susancB3381SC, The majority of the shop is flat though there is a 1.5'' edge to the main door and the floor in the museum is slightly uneven. The stairs up into the workshop part of the museum aren't wheelchair... More
