The story behind the Bridge house is interesting and it takes around 10 mins to visit it. Worth it specially as it's unique and just on the main road. Worth visiting.

I remember it as a bookshop, crammed floor to ceiling but very worth the trip, Not sure now, but it was a National Trust office at one time.

Adorable and a must see. It only takes a few mins - twin with a visit to the Apple Pie shop and you are good to go!

The Bridge House is a very unusual building which is quite small and inside two very small, plain rooms but it has become one of the most important icons of the Lake District. Its interesting to pop inside for a few minutes.
