It's a tiny pub with four hand pumps. Three in use when I went in one of which was a mild. Some people may have issues with getting into it as it has a short flight of stepsMore

Thank you for your review. We only have 3 ales on the bar to keep it in top condition, but you will normally find a light, a brown and a dark ale on at all times. As we are coming up to May, there will...More

I book-ended a dismal match at the KCom Stadium by visiting this somewhat quaint, cosy, bar twice. There's no chance of an intimate conversation as the bar is so small, but the owner (I believe his name is Tony) and the few people that were...More

The beer was well kept and lovely. The staff were friendly and the place felt welcoming and cozy. Had an excellent pint and was made to feel welcome, by what i assume were some of the locals. I will definitely return.

Small, cosy and friendly, this cellar bar is a must visit. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, with a changing selection of beers and spirits. Well worth finding out how good it is for yourself.

Although I only stopped in briefly this quirky little pub is well work a visit! Though small in size its large in character. A great reputation for real ale and cider and certainly one for the traditional pub crawl shortlist!
