The trinity theatre was formerly the trinity arts centre.. iit hosts a variety of performances and to a lesser extent some art exhibits.. I pop in there occasionally for a cup of coffee. on the most recent occaisions I have found that the service in the cafe part to be a bit hit and miss depending on who serves you.... More

The theatre is built into a Decimus Burton designed church saved from the developers. There is a bar and coffee area. The stage is quite small, and the seats bank up to a balcony, and overall its a good use of the space. We saw the not-much-performed Measure for Measure performed by the Trinity theatre group. Overall excellent acting, although... More

The Trinity has an eclectic mix of entertainment that provides a real alternative to the more mainstream offerings appearing at the Assembly Hall. I have been to see comedians, bands, films and plays here and have never failed to enjoy my visit. There are a couple of things which make the Trinity stand out. Firstly, the seating runs right down... More

Trinity Theatre and Cafe/bar is a fantastic and convenient facility right in the centre of Tunbridge Wells. It offers Films, Live Theatre, Comedy, Comedy Cafe evenings, Music, Art exhibitions and live transmissions of events from the west End and beyond. 10.01.16 we went to see (a recording of) Kenneth Brannagh's production of A Winter's Tale at the Garrick Theatre with... On January 1st my friend celebrated her birthday with a trip to the Trinity Theatre to see Oliver where a friend's son was playing the lead role. On arrival we were able to leave a couple of excess bags at the ticket desk which was helpful then we bought drinks and snacks at the bar which became rather crowded and... More

This theatre has a mix of classical theatre/music/films/visual arts and children's theatre with animation and puppetry. It is in an old church and is very beautiful.

Gorgeous church converted into an arts centre/theatre with a wonderful and warm feel. Friendly staff, interesting art exhibitions to view before your chosen show which adds to its charm and an intimate auditorium surrounded by beautiful architecture. I will return again and again. easy to reach and car park to side and rear with train station just 5 minutes walk... More

To be honest we only go to this theatre for the comedy evenings. Appropriately priced and a good deal when you have the meal deal which I would recommend. The stage is small, but you can see the stage from all the seats because of the good slope. Probably about 200 seats. A lot of the staff are volunteers and... More

I've been coming here on and of for many years and I'm always impressed. I like it's warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere as well as the spontaneity of just looking to see what's on and going. Which is great, as there's usually something of interest since they have such a wide ranging and varied programme through out the year. The... More

This is an excellent facility in Tunbridge Wells. Besides the cafe you can see films, comedy, and drama in a great atmosphere. As with all things in TW it's within walking distance of the centre. We're locals, members and great fans.
