We visited Tonbridge Wells and went on the Spa Valley Railway at Easter 2017. Firstly the parking is easy in the Sainsbury car park, although I'm not sure what to do about parking all day if one wanted to spend the whole day in the park (High Rock). There is a snack bar where our party sampled the Railway Ale,... More

Myself and 13 other members of our book club went to a brilliant 1940s themed murder mystery and fish and chip supper evening last night! From the start, staff and the actors were welcoming and provided many laughs. The murder mystery plot was very funny and brilliantly acted by the small cast and provided excellent entertainment. The fish and chip... More

Fantastically restored old station and trains, very good shop and area behind where there is some good information about the station and history of the trains. Only a few trains a day (green timetable) and the alternative between diesel and steam. Not much to see at any of the stations but some nice walks around all the station

Fantastic weekend , we stopped at Groombridge to visit the house , then boarded to go to Eridge before our return trip to Tunbridge. There were delays , due to the boy scouts who decided to use the railway but who cares when you can sit in such wonderful surroundings , we where kept informed by the guard . A... More

Booked the Sunday lunch train as a birthday present. Left Eridge approx 20 mins late, but the Station Master kept us all informed of what's happening. The food service was excellent, all carried out by volunteers, who were really attentive. We had the beef roast, which came with separate roast potatoes and veg. The beef was excellent and plentiful, all... More

We booked for four of us and were advised to be there 15 minutes early which we were although the train didn't depart on time (over 20 minutes late) but this allowed us to gain a drink from the bar. Before I talk about the food, can I make a suggestion ? Depart at 6pm, when you return, serve the... More

My husband purchased 4 tickets for us and 2 friends to go for a trip on the Spa Valley Railway last night, 22nd April. We were really looking forward to the trip as my husband and I had never been on a steam train before and our ticket advised us to arrive for 6.45pm to ensure a prompt departure. We... More

We decided to go on the £15.00 per person curry express which included your fare and curry which I thought was excellent value, Spa Valley Tunbridge Well station is a very quaint little train, nice big velvet seats and lovely big windows to watch the scenery, the curry was excellent, and the bar well stocked, we saw some beautiful wildlife...
