Very sad to see that this is neither signposted and nor was it open. For members of the Jewish persuasion, this is a great shame as Sir Moses Montefiore was a Jewish great.

Sir Moses and his wife Judith are buried in a Mausoleum that is a replica of Rachel's Tomb. The synagogue was his own private synagogue in the grounds of Eastclff Manor ,his home. Unfortunately Ramsgate Council thought it necessary to demolish a heritage building.

beautiful resting place for the montefiore's, in the middle of a small woods with traces of the original park wall, unable to see inside on this visit but still worth seeing even if you cant get inside
