A very interesting tour of tunnels used during the WW2 below Ramsgate town. Helen, the guide we had was so knowledgable and made the tour all the more interesting. Maybe not for young children but certainly a history tour for older children. There was a...More

Visited the Ramsgate tunnels and was thoroughly impressed!
Colin conducted the tour and was so informative, such history about the area I knew nothing about.
The caves are remarkable, cold and damp but so wrap up warm this time of year.
Really worth a visit!

Using a disability scooter at the attraction very much depends on the type of scooter. The floor is quite uneven in several places and smaller wheeled scooters may ground out. Larger wheeled scooters can be used with care but the tunnels are only about 6 feet wide. We do have a special wheelchair with large balloon type wheels to help with the uneven surface.
