Walked the dogs on the stoney beach, the area was clean with lots of seating. There was a sign up saying no swimming though, which was a shame.

Lovely pebbled beach, 4 cafes and 2 restaurants on seafront. Has 2 piers however one is being developed and the other is described as for fishing off. Lovely views of castle from beach. Beach has design of waves on promenade. Across the road from beach...More

It isn't stone beach, and you can park the car right along the beach which is pay and display. There are the usual cafes which sell ice creams too. However you can also watch the ferries sailing in and out of the harbour.

Well this beach is nice and clean water. However you can't see to far because if the Dover port. Al thought it's nice beach

Flat promenade, easy stroll along seafront, have a look at the clock tower at far end from the ferry end, also look out for the granite like blocks for the channel swimmers.
