This shopping outlet used to have some really good stores with high quality products. Unfortunately my visit today showed a different picture -fewer stores and less extensive range of products. It's a great setting but not s great shopping experience.

You can do a day trip to France (Calais) from Dover. It may also still be possible to go to Boulogne, Dunkirk or Ostend in Belgium depending on what ferries are available at the moment. To go to the Isle of Wight, though, you need to go further west along the coast to Portsmouth area.
