Well worth a visit but not enough information on or around the boat or staff wandering around to ask! The route wasn't clear either but we just double backed on ourselves.

An excellent ship permanently moored in the dockyard. Access all areas, you clamber around this WW2 ship and look at life on board. Very well preserved and really informative. I couldn't be in the navy!

We went into the dockyard for the day , we went on HMS Cavalier . Really good to have a look round the boat , and get a feel for what it must have been like to be stationed living on the boat .

It was fascinating to see how sailors lived on board. I particularly liked sitting on the high stool pretending to steer. How on earth did they manage in the galley.

It was absolutely amazing going over this hugh ship, and the history of it was truly wonderful, seeing the engine room, the shop, and the kitchen was amazing.
