We enjoyed walking round HMS Cavalier; we were able to explore all the nooks and crannies and even go up on the bridge. It must have been very hard for the men, living in such cramped conditions. There is a lot of history relating to...More

My husband took me on all the large exhibits, the Cavalier was fascinating and provided a window of life at sea in the war years. In very good condition and found lots of interesting information about the ship.

The walk around and guide were excellent! Unlike the rest of Chatham dockyard, especially the entrance ticketing farce, this was a highlight.

Plenty of things to do on this ship including ringing the ships bell and even climbing into a hammock. Lots of period items in this ship. Quite a few steps and ladders so maybe not for the less able bodied but good fun.
