Inside its just and ordinary electrically driven pumping set in a smallish room. There's an old defunct steam roller outside there are far better engineering places to visit than this, waste of time IMHO

Really cool museum full of old steam equipment and more. It's rather hidden behind the car parks. If you love machinery like pumps and steam then your gonna love this place.pop on.

A great looking free museum that only opens on a Saturday which I felt was strange especially as it was school holidays. However the outside of the building including a start roller certainly wet my appetite if I visited Chatham on a Saturday.
