Had a lovely day for our sons 6th birthday. Animals seem very happy and relaxed. Food in the main restaurant very over priced for what it is.

We went with our 13 month old and had a great day out! Some of the animals were indoors as it is a cold month but my son really enjoyed looking at the animals, specially the gorillas. We loved it!

We have visited this zoo many times now and it never lets us down today we was able to watch the gorillas being fed by Mr Aspinall himself and have now booked to return in the summer to feed them ourself. People grumble the park is expensive but all your fees go towards the beautiful upkeep of the most amazing... More

Just spent the day at Howletts, the whole family enjoyed the day. Some of the animals were still not moving about much but those that were made up for the rest, but it is about the welfare of the animals (which is why we like it). The park was clean and tidy as always and the toilets also. Had dinner... More

Excellent day out. Well worth the money . The zoo keepers are always glad to stop and talk to you about the animals. Best way to see some of the clouded leopards is walk round towards 1630 as they get feed then .

Great day out but make sure you wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking! First visit was about 6 years ago and so much has changed. Went with 13 and 9 year old. Is an expensive day out but either prepare yourself for that or take out the two park ticket. Would definitely visit again in the... More

Let's start with the price, it is quite expensive if you go once and pay the 20 odd quid it is for a day ticket but if you pay £55 for a year pass it's so worth it. We had so many great days out all through the year when we didn't have much money and wanted a day out!... More

I enjoyed Howletts Wild Animal Park. It is different from other zoos I have been to as they don't just breed animals to exchange with other zoos, Howletts actually breeds animals to release into the wild. I was really impressed by this and there are infinite amounts of sign boards explaining all of the conservation work that the Aspinall Foundation... More

Returned here again with our toddlers aged 2 and 3 and yet again had a fantastic day. It was a rainy and miserable day but that didn't dampen the fun. Saw loads of animals, the staff were walking around and giving talks / open to questions. Really would recommend this place for young children and would definitely recommend an annual... More
