Visited here for an event today . The owners are very accomodating and the gardens are beautiful with lots of cool shady paths . Well worth a visit when the gardens are open .

Godmersham Park House was once the residence of Jane Austen's brother, Edward, and she is known to have visited. The house is closed to the public, but there is a footpath you can take through its extensive land -- maybe one that Miss Austen herself...More
