Really nice, well kept historical pub! Of course the interior is very traditional so that's great! The garden is accommodating and the food is fine! The selection of spirits is excellent, particularly the rum! Have to give a special mention to the guy with the...More
The pub itself is not bad, the staff however are horrendous. There was only one female with brown hair serving, rushed off her feet and the other two, a short blonde girl and a large chubby guy, we're outside chatting and doing nothing, the owner...More

Oh well!! But I’m still never getting Doombar back in the bar!! And calling people “chubby” is offensive. So we hope we never see you again. Bye!
Recently moved to the area. Came in for a quick bite and look around the other day. Lovely exterior as well as interior. Landlord seemed friendly sitting downstairs with the regulars. Pretty girl on the bar with dark hair was very chatty and helpful. Everyone...More

Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed your visit, and look forward to your next.
Just come out of the Unicorn and the interior just reminded me of my teenage years. It does not seem to have changed at all. Very traditional. Had a meal in the garden. Staff very helpful. Good pub food. Lovely evening.

Just popped in as next to our Hotel before a night out and what a nice place to have a drink and be sociable. Great staff and atmosphere and the food we did see that was being served looked great and good value. Overall well...More

Just a little way out of town, and well worth the stroll. Ever popular with locals for good reason. The beer is excellent, there's a good wine selection and the food is plentiful and delicious. Very well worth a visit. Very pleasant garden too, away...More
