We called in late evening for a drink before returning to our hotel and were pleasantly surprised. Prices were reasonable, cheaper than a few other places. Music was good and the surroundings/clientelle/bar staff welcoming. Worth popping in if you are near the Westgate tower/gardens.

We had a fantastic Sunday roast today, there was so much of it, cooked to perfection, very friendly pub, we have booked a table for a couple of weeks time to eat another roast, a must and highly recommended, friendly bar staff.

Didn't have any food just an ale, which was lovely. Lovely atmosphere, nice staff. A really lovely pub garden, which was very spacious and picturesque.
