This pub is brilliant for sporting events and community. There is not better place to watch rugby in Canterbury. I watched all Lions Games at 8.30 in the morning and there is a wonderful community feeling of being with friends. The breakfast special was the...More

I'm told the atmosphere can be variable, depending on the passion driven by the mainly rugby supporting clientele. In the gaps between sporting events, (and not just those inspired by William Web Ellis), it can be a great place to chill out as was the...More

My boyfriend and I went on a Friday night and had a really good time. Sure it’s not the cleanest or most dazzling venue in the world but drinks were reasonable, staff were friendly and we enjoyed the live music

We've been to many pubs but this one was horrible, over priced and lazy. All 3 of us were given dirty glasses. I managed to scrape a lot of dirt or grime off from each glass. Asked for no ice and gave us ice anyway...More

A students pub, pure and simple. Very basic, worn everything and the cheapest beer in Canterbury outside of Wetherspoons. Very friendly staff. Brilliant.
