a great way to spend a sunny afternoon. The ground was easy to find. There was plenty of space to sit, several bars and places to get food.

Love this ground, real old school cricket ground, where seating is a mixture of park benches, stadium seats and grass with picnic blankets. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you get a chance to see cricket here, you really must, but avoid the restricted view...More

For us the real benefit was being able to set up our own chairs re-arrange our picnic around us and enjoy a good days cricket in a traditional ground. I am sure we will return next season

Easy to find, parking on-site, on Bus route, within 30 mins walk of central Canterbury and Wincheap. Public Seats comfortable and spread around the ground, but none covered. Good views of Cricket. Plenty of facilities, in good order.

On a lovely sunny day watched Australia v Kent pre-Ashes game. Good seating, great atmosphere/crowd and plenty of refreshments available. The only irritation was people smoking.......do not think it should be allowed in the grounds and there was not enough control on this.

Busy but not packed. Plenty of seating all round ground with good views. Lime tree cafe provided snacks and drinks, short queues and friendly service but expensive. Directly opposite ( I forget the name ) provided sheltered outside seating, quick service ( and it was...More
