Fantastic ruin, like all ancient ruins. In good condition and relatively close to the city centre and worth a visit.

This castle is currently closed to the public. When I got to the entrance there was aa sign saying that it was closed due to falling masonry. From what I can tell, what you see from there outside is pretty much it anyway. It appears...More

It is a shame it is closed at the present, but it is worth a little time to walk around the exterior.

An interesting ruin that unfortunately is closed currently due to falling masonry. You can still see the outside of the structure, but unfortunately you cannot go inside the grounds to read the information panels.

Just keep in mind it is a ruin so at the moment it is not accessible however you can still get a good look at it from beyond the fencing. I wasn't expecting to be able to climb all over it so not really sure...More

Made our way to the site only to be met by the sign "closed due to to falling masonry" would have ben nice (and polite) to have been informed of this prior to our visit.
