Thought this would be a great experience having visited Snowshill Lavendar Farm on the mainland, but as others have said, disappointing experience. This is classed as a great free attraction for the IOW. Perhaps the literature I was reading was out of date. The Lavender...More

Was very disappointed as the last time we went it was lively with an informed tour of Lavendar extraction process and lavender maintenance. This time round it was like a dead end only thing missing was tumble weed.

Very long bumby dirt road that leads to a very small antique shop. And that is All. What a waste of a trip and it is really hard to keep a baby asleep on a track that bad. Could do with a sign saying closed...More

Not good out of season as the cafe is closed for refurbishment. The small shop is open selling lavender products and also small antiques. But on a plus we saw red squirrels

Take your roadside signs down?! What are you doing? We drove around for 45 minutes trying to figure out what was going on! And then when we asked they were like "oh yes, that's closed now. Now we sell roses".

Just an antiques shop and cafe. No fields of lavender. Needs to be renamed . Or perhaps it has, only one sign to IOW Lavender.

We spent 30 minutes trying to find this business. The sat nav directed us down a shingle road and we found a garden curiosity business and the Hungry Bear cafe. No lavender farm although this is still signposted on the main road. Hugely disappointed.

We saw the sign for the Hungry Bear as we were hungry for some lunch, drove all the way down the long bumpy track feeling excited as it sounded really good. The buildings are very pretty and the location is lovely, but we left as...More

Whilst traveling back from the Garlic Farm we saw the signs for IOW Lavender so thought we’d take a look. After following the signs and turning off the main road we thought we’d taken a wrong turn but at the end of the dirt track...More

The title of my review says it all really. Visited here with my family and all had high hopes. Firstly we were surprised to see very little lavender being sold, and the few bushes that were up for sale looked almost dead! The antique shop...More
