Visited for the first time this relatively recent new forest planted by the Woodland Trust.Numerous walks of differing lengths available as well cycle and horse rides and areas to exercise dogs (on leads). Generous parking, including five disabled spaces, but beware the steep speed humps!...More

Visited there this morning. Made to feel welcome, staff very polite and friendly. Would recommend this place to go for coffee.

Heartwood - run by the Woodland Trust - is a beautiful location with both firmly established woodland and new planting projects. There are magical walks for little people and plenty of opportunities for those who wish to walk further. Parking and adventures are free but...More

Looking for somewhere to go for a walk that wasn’t too far. Googled local places and found Heartwood. Hadn’t really heard of it before. Nice place to walk , ride a bike or just sit for peace and quiet. Lots of potential.
