A small museum at the edge of Verulamium Park, it is crammed full of the most spectacular Roman finds from the local area, well exhibited and described. The first exhibits that you see are very dimly lit, but after those, everything else is much easier...More

Good place for a day out where you can just walk from town centre within 10min. It has got enough space for kids to play while you can go through exciting Roman era in the area. Overall very quiet place even during weekends.

The museum is like a tardis as it looks quite small from the outside, however, it does not take long for you to realise the scale of what is contained within. Bring along a camera and some food as you will want to stay for...More

What a superb little museum, as an oldie I loved all the history and as it was the weekend there were young famines enjoying it too. Very good value for money and good for education.
