This is actually a nice pub however three of us visited for food on a Saturday night. Literally one minute past eight we were told we could not order food. No signs to tell you when food stops and the kitchen would not do any...More

Rude barman, sterile heavy atmosphere. Not really a traditional pub atmosphere, staff uptight. The food menu quite posh, overall best avoided, far too many other options locally for friendly atmosphere with traditional pub grub.

Booked a table today at 6:00pm (Mother’s Day), they can’t find our booking and said we have to wait for 60 minutes for the food. The young man at the reception was rude and refused to give us his name. This restaurant intentionally over-booked and...More

Went in to watch the champions league final, half a dozen screens but no sound! Their business rates must be high , hence their sky/ BT package must be high , I would guess in or around £700- £800 a month. Yet no sound...really!

Unfortunately we don't have parking. But there is plenty of parking on Clarence road or 3 free hours in Clarence Park (don't forget to get a ticket at the machine in the park)
