Most enlightening and enjoyable visit. I came away with a completely new concept not just about how cider is made, but of the cultural significance of cider in rural United Kingdom... in days gone by it was a part of your wages, and quaffed while...More
The cafe was just superb lovely staff good food at a ver reasonable price! We had afternoon tea, fresh scones home baked 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Sampled ciders with a lady who was knowledgable about her subject and honest. So refreshing to have someone speak well on their...More
The museum was very quiet for our visit so we could wander around at our own pace. The cellars are well worth the trip but involve a lot of stairs. We gained a lot of knowlwdge but just reading all the noitice boards and looking...More

Well worth a visit and a fascinating history of the Bulmer's family. The museum is on two levels with a vast cellar underneath. There is a very good shop selling a huge range of specialist ciders and a nice cafe

There must be better cider venues nearby.

Hello, as we are not a cider producer we offer small samples of three ciders by some of our stockists or apple juice on the day, depending what we are sampling. You can also buy a pint on tap of the cider of the month in the tearoom or buy cider from the great variety in the shop and drink it there too. Hope this helps!
