Berrington is a country house on a human scale: visibly a family home rather than a vast barn of a place. Each room is a delight to view, the pleasure enhanced by extremely knowledgeable guides, one of whom welcomes visitors and does a good briefing...More

A lovely Georgian House , well worth visiting. I had never heard of this house but being NT member and in the area decided to visit it. I'm very glad I did. It is an interesting house with a story to tell by the room...More

We knew nothing about this National Trust property when we arrived but enjoyed a wonderful afternoon here. The gardens designed by Capability Brown are magnificent. The rooms in the house are all magnificent and the modern dining room display created by a Dutch artist is...More

A very interesting house - the grounds were the last ones laid out by Capability Brown and his son-in-law designed the hall.

This was a really good surprise - an interesting house with engaging, helpful volunteers. Some pleasant grounds with walks further afield and a new play area, which our child loved. It made for an excellent family outing!

It is my dad's 80th birthday in march and I'm looking for a day put for him. Is it possible to arrange a special afternoon tea for him please?
