A "themed" pub very popular with students, we went with our youngest daughter more to say we had been than anything else, there was a reasonable selection of draught beers and a large selection of cocktails which are served in pint glasses. The staff were...More

The place is a dump. Drinks are over priced doorstaff are lying cretins. It has as much to do with lotr as CBBC has to do with horror. (Tellytubbies excluded). There are plenty of venues nearby that are better including the nearest NCP multi storey...More

Brought my friends who were visiting to this place a year ago and their asking me to bring them back again. Pub has a warm atmosphere. Plenty of space outside to chill and chat too. Cocktails here are awesome and affordable. Miss this place.

I think the Hobbit is just the greatest place to go in Southampton, especially for pre drinks. The pint cocktails are excellent price and yummy and they very often have offers on shooters etc. I also think it's amazing how huge the back garden is!...More
