Went back after a long time. It is greatly improved and enjoyed a picnic on one of the many seats. Brought back happy memories. There are toilets and shops near by.

With recent poor weather it was a real treat to be able to sit in the Spring sunshine on one of the many provided seats enjoying the Pond and varied water fowl. The daffodils added to the scene.

Great place to take young children. The playground is very safe with lots of squirrels about. Nice clean area for a picnic. A big pond with lots of ducks for children to feed but not allowed to give them bread.

If the sun is out and you can find somewhere to sit without bird mess, then it's not a bad place. Watch out though, the grassy areas can be a bit boggy / muddy. Also don't forget the amenities can be closed in winter.

Good place to bring young children for a day at the park, the pond is lovely too. Make sure you buy duck food at the shop.
