Interesting exhibition with a video and displays. There is the original sail as well which was great to see and to see it's history and conservation

Maybe not the most exciting thing on the historic docks sight but well worth a visit as it gives context to do much of the other stuff.

Combined with the visit to the victory it provides a really great introduction to the battle of trafalgar. A useful interactive quiz provokes thoughtful reflection and the aud-visual presentation was outstanding in its portrail Well done the historic dockyards

Re-visit, but we always find just that one extra snippet of information. Brings back memories of earlier visits. Explains the history of the ship figureheads and shows, I think a replica, of the funeral barge which took Lord Nelson on the Thames.

We spent most of an afternoon walking through this exhibit. Slowly does it is important so that you have time to read and understand what is being presented. It was quite well designed and presented.

As part of our visit to the dockyard, we entered this exhibition, it was very good, gave a good insight to how they built HMS Victory and the costs, some nice paintings and a good view over the harbour towards Gosport.

We felt that HMS Victory was mostly about the men who served on her, their experiences, incredibly tough lives and a nod to Lord Nelson, albeit he is present in every nook and cranny on the ship. This, however, was more about the man himself,...More

You must do The Victory and Mary Rose. HNS Warrior is also brilliant.
