the meals are excellent and the 'oak cooked' chips are the best i've ever had. there is often live music on a friday and sometimes special 2 or 3 course meals which are delicious

What a wonderful country pub. Beautiful decor throughout with a lovely atmospheric restaurant area. The food was exceptional and they catered for all of us and all the children's needs too.
