Scarborough Beach is beautiful, with a rough cold ocean. It is very windy, and the sand stings. So take a wet suit, or long pants. Lots of surfing and wind surfing.

The beach is tucked away in the little town or hamlet of Scarborough. Its attraction is being away from the commercialization and city setting of other wonderful Cape beaches. There are toilets at the parking lot is which is useful.

The views of the beach and ocean are a painters delight. The beach is white for as far as the eye sees. The water has an exceptional turquoise colour.

One of the most spectacular beaches in Cape Town. Great for young kids. Check wind forecast before visiting as it is exposed to the southeaster.
