Sezincote is a magnificent House influenced by the Mogul Palaces of Rajasthan India, and complete with a copper-domed roof. Adjoining the house is a gorgeous orangery which serves coffee and cake, cream teas etc at very reasonable prices. House visits are highly recommended, but are...More

Long drive to get there, high expectations but these didn’t last long. Not particularly well signposted. Small car park, arrived at 2:35 to find it virtually full. No sign of an overflow though I believe there may be one. Got to Payment Hut, slow moving...More

This is a lovely place, such a surprise in the Cotswolds. Come and see the lovely gardens and unique house. Built in an Indian style with a dome and a lovely tea room.

This is a very unusual house with a fascinating history. We went on a half-hour tour, and the guide was excellent. There are only a few rooms open to the public, but all contained a wealth of furniture, paintings, and artefacts. Before the tour we...More

I took my sister to Sezincote as a birthday treat and we were both delighted with the experience. The house is very striking and the carefully restored “Indianisation” undertaken by the parents of the current owners is beautiful - design and colours are gorgeous. The...More

Please note: there are a limited number of days when open and only by guided tour. This is a very different building with its Indian features outside. The green dome and the orangery are delightful features. the rooms inside are typical of many other large...More

For sure the gardens are well maintained but so much is missing from such a property, a house of this period would have likely had a large kitchen garden to supply the house with fruit, vegetables and flowers alas nothing here. Gardens mainly are lawns...More
