I had never visited Batsford Arboretum so when I saw they had an elf hunt and Santa Grotto this weekend I quickly booked up, paying £5 over the telephone for the Grotto visit. It’s dog friendly which suited us and we were a party of...More

Being locals we’ve had some excellent meals in the cafe previously but the last experience was terrible. The roast turkey dinner was a heap of dry mush, over-cooked roast potatoes, dry turkey, one sprout and a chunk of carrot! And not cheap! Tried to complain...More

Dear visitor, the cafe is a franchise at Batsford and your comments will not be taken lightly, as you mention in your review you have had some excellent meals here in the past and that is how it should be. I will be discussing your...More

It is well worth visiting this very beautiful park with an astonishing variety of trees and shrubs. It was particularly beautiful on the sunny day in October, when I visited because of the amazing colours of the leaves.
