Jewel in the crown of Cirencester!

Jewel in the crown of Cirencester!

Went through the park as part of a circular walk around the countryside of Cirencester. It is truely a lovely place to be, with a spectacular view down the main track towards the town centre and cathedral.

At the time of visiting, there was a sort of dinosaur attraction taking place, with model dinosaurs and other things dotted around the wooded areas.

Really worth the visit if you are in the area.

Lovely, clean and peaceful park
Jul. 2021
Lovely park within easy walking distance from Cirencester town centre. We visited on a hot summer day and it was still quiet and peaceful. The grounds are huge so there is plenty of space to walk or find a spot to sit.

Nice Green Park

Access from the local caravan site. Downside closes at 5pm so shortcut to Town is not allowed for evening meal trips.

Pretty park and woodland
May 2021
An excellent very pretty park and a good shortcut to Sapperton- but having seen that there are plans afoot to charge for entrance- I certainly wouldn't have paid knowing that there are walks and woods, but very few facilities, I don't really think it is viable to charge especially when there are no toilet facilities except at the polo club. The Abbey grounds is an excellent free alternative with the addition of Abbey and Roman remains (and toilets.)

Gorgeous place to walk and explore

Gorgeous place to walk and explore. From near the town gates along the Broad Walk, and through the polo fields, then miles of park, woodland and open countryside as far as Sapperton village - plan a day with picnic and it'll be worth it.

Beautiful place with scenic walks
Nov. 2020
Cirencester Park is a great place to go for a walk. There are multiple paths to walk and lots of green space for dogs. There is regularly a coffee van for takeaway drinks and often added attractions e.g. bamboo elephants.
The only set backs are that it closes in the evenings and the central paths is not quite wide enough to have people and push chairs walking in both directions.
