Surprisingly modern interior - the stairways were drab. My visit was on a Saturday morning and the museum and galleries were quiet. The Arts and Crafts exhibitions were very good. I eventually found the other collections relating more to Cheltenham and the Cotswolds through time....More

Enticed by the promotional materials we felt sure that our family were in for a treat. What a hugely over rated and disappointing experience. So much for being interactive with several features 'out of order'. The extent of the exhibits was very limited and not...More

Thank you for your comments. We’re obviously disappointed that you felt you didn’t get any value from the Meet Rex exhibition, and that it didn’t meet your expectations. The exhibition was designed and curated by a dinosaur expert and many of the interactives have been...More

Really enjoyed the paintings and some of the more historical sections (Romans’) etc there is a fairly large emphasis on brown furniture and arts and crafts which I wasn’t interested in. Worth a look though and it’s free

Really interesting art gallery and museum and welcoming staff. Great bonus to the city center and escape from the bustle of the nearby shops. Very relaxing atmosphere. Café had very helpful staff but limited menu so a bit disappointing.
